About the Show:
When Elwood P. Dowd starts to introduce his imaginary friend, Harvey – a very tall rabbit – to guests at a society party, his sister Veta, can no longer tolerate his eccentricities. She decides to have Elwood committed to Chumley’s Rest, a sanitarium, to spare her family from future embarrassment.

This fun and energetic program is designed for students ages 10-18 who want to explore acting in a playful, low-pressure environment while building valuable performance skills along the way. Through improv games, acting activities, and ensemble-based exercises, students will learn how to think on their feet, make bold choices, work together, and have fun on stage.
Whether your child is brand new to theatre or already loves to perform, this class offers a welcoming space to grow, create, and connect.

It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play
This December, Standing Ovation Theatre invites you to return to Bedford Falls for a special presentation of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, directed by Donna Bane.
Experience the beloved story of George Bailey, Mary Hatch, Clarence the guardian angel, and the friends who remind George that no one is a failure who has friends. Presented in the style of a classic radio broadcast, the production will feature actors bringing the story to life while sound effects are created live onstage.
Auditions will be held November 1 and 2, 2026.

Please note that this is a special non-season fundraiser production. Season tickets and season ticket benefits cannot be used for admission to this show.
