Come learn. Come create. Come take center stage.
At Standing Ovation Theatre, learning doesn’t stop when the curtain goes up.
Our Educational Programs offer performers of all ages and experience levels opportunities to build skills, explore their creativity, and grow more confident both onstage and off. From acting and improv to dance, movement, and other areas of theatrical performance, our classes are designed to be welcoming, engaging, and hands-on.
Whether you’re a young performer taking your first steps onto the stage, an experienced actor looking to strengthen your skills, or an adult who has always wondered what it might be like to give theatre a try, there’s a place for you here.
Classes are led in a supportive community-theatre environment where students can learn by doing, take creative risks, work alongside fellow performers, and most importantly, have fun while developing their craft.
Many of our programs also give students the opportunity to share what they’ve learned through a showcase performance for family, friends, and the community.
CENTER STAGE DANCE CLASS

Come learn, create, and discover what you can do onstage!
Standing Ovation Theatre’s Center Stage Dance Class, taught by Becca Gard, combines strength and conditioning with fun, engaging choreography designed specifically for young performers.
Students will work on building physical strength and coordination while learning choreography that challenges their memory and helps improve choreography retention. Along the way, they’ll also develop confidence, performance skills, and greater comfort expressing themselves through movement.
Whether your young performer already loves to dance or is looking to become more comfortable with movement onstage, Center Stage offers an encouraging environment to learn, grow, and have fun.
