A Little Ounce Of Nonsense

Directed by Barry A. Chambers

Show Dates: May 29 - 31, June 5 - 7, 2026

*World Premiere*

About The Show:

Hollywood, Halloween night, 1954. A glamorous, eccentric group of actors gathers for a séance to contact a writer killed in a car crash. But as secrets surface, it’s clear his death wasn’t an accident—it was murder. Mystery, suspense, and Old Hollywood glamour collide in this thrilling new play with a ghostly twist.

Cast:

5 women, 4 men.

Lim Burns, 35-45. Lim is a ghost seen and heard only by the audience. He serves as a narrator of sorts and interacts with other character without their knowing it.

Suki the maid, mid-20's to early 30' s. Very superstitious. *Must have an eastern European accent.*

Evelyn Chappell, late 30's to late 40's. She's "on" all the time with broad gestures and speech.

Madame Faith Divine, the lady handling the seance. Early 30's to mid 40's, could be older. She acts mysterious, but is a fake.

Minette Laruse, dumb, sexy blond.

Vince Pomerantz, late 30's to early 50's. Loves the bottle.

Billy Parks, early to mid 20's. A serious actor, likable.

Devon Marsh, late 30's to early 50's. A costume, set designer who fears the color red. He also plays the horses.

Paula Maggard, late 30's to early 50's. Pure English woman who solves the murder. Very astute
